Besides some issues in Native Access with Sonoma, the NI software itself, including K14 CE has always worked with any version update of Sonoma. At least in my case.
Good to know. I have seen others who have had success with Sonoma. The most recent version of MacOS I see is 14.3.1 and I am tempted to upgrade given other software I use is now compatible. Thank you for sharing your experience.
I'm on Sonoma 14.3.1 on a M2 Mac Studio and other than the USB issue I had connected to my S61 MK3 I haven't had any major issues. My biggest complaint right now is that the preview sounds in Kontakt don't work. According to NI this is a known Mac Studio issue. Other than that minor detail, life is good. Logic is working fine now with Kontakt, but I'm more of a Live person.
Thank you so much for this. I may do the update tonight and move on from the previous version of macOS. I too run an M2 Mac Studio and love the performance when using all hardware. Do you by chance use Maschine? I do and I noticed that is not listed in the Sonoma compatibility chart.
I've used the Maschine 2 software a bit and gone through some tutorials and it's worked fine. That being said I haven't "load tested" Maschine 2. So I can't comment as far as how performance is with multiple Kontakt instruments, drum kits etc...
