Hi

I'm working i Cubase 12 on a 4K monitor, and I'm trying to use Battery 4 for drum programming. But the VST GUI is so small that I can barely read it.

Is there a way to enlarge the Battery GUI i Cubase?

Regards, Kasper

You can not resize Battery, neither in Cubase, neither anywhere else. It is not a high resolution application. Not yet. Hopefully in a future update.

Until then, the only thing you can do is to lower your screen resolution (which i suspect is extremely high).

@Sunborn Thanks for the quiqk reply. It was as expected. It would be nice if there just were a x2 magnification on old VST's. I don't care so much about the resolution. I just want to be able to see whats going on. :-)

As an afterthought... the lack of scaling capability renders many old VTS useless. I imagine that will be a huge problem for many users. Won't this be a big concern for NI and other manufacturers?

Every decent developer updates his software frequently (or less frequently) in order to meet the current technology requirements. Who ever does not do that, sooner or later disappears from the music market. Users must do the same, to update their software and not stay in the old and outdated versions.

The only thing you CAN do is zoom your screen. On a Mac I have it set to a certain zoom level in the OS and a mouse button attached to the shortcut key

    (VIA Better touch Tool).

Since most monitors are increasing in resolution these days, this problem is going to grow. Inevitable. Asking people to downgrade resolution to enable visibility is simply wrong.

I use Battery 4 and Cubase 13 Pro and find that Battery 4 is more or less unuseable because of resolution, thereby small size as shown in earlier replies.

The bigger problem for me these days is the question I am asking myself more and more - "why should I upgrade my NI products when they don't evolve to meet my needs?" It is hard to upgrade when these kinds of problems remain unresolved.

    Same problem here.

Just imagine someone buying the latest Komplete 15 at 1 799€, and opening Battery 4 for the first time…

    This is a shame.

Works perfectly here - just be sure to use the "still" current worldwide standard resolution:

    and you will be fine.
