Traktor 2024 outlook

Dear Traktorists,

As the new year is already well underway, we are excited to say that some long-requested Traktor features will come to life in 2024. We’re also pleased to announce that Traktor Pro 3.9 won this year’s Namm TEC Award for DJ Production Technology.

As mentioned in December, our work on the next main features Flexible Beatgrids and in-app Stem Separation is progressing well and we will be launching a private beta for these soon.

The publication of the Traktor Feature Roadmap in its current form will be changing into status updates like this one. We're still keeping the floor open for your suggestions on improvements in the Ideas section but our main focus will be on the features outlined in the existing roadmap. These have all been shaped by the priorities identified through your votes in the community over the past year.

As user from the first hour i must say, the most important thing is to fix the "browser flickering" problem before including new features. Its driving me nuts at every gig not be able to search through my TrackCollection. I cant handle it actually. I dont understand why its so hard to build extra cache for this or something similar. Please provide new informations, when will it gets priority to fix this?

Also agreed. We are also making good progress on that lane - it's not a simple one, but we currently dedicate significant time to provide a solution for this long standing issue.

Thank you for this outlook! I‘m happy to hear that the main features are progressing well and I‘m looking forward for the private beta.

I’m just curious, are there still two development Teams working on Traktor like mentioned at the publishing of Traktor Pro 3 for creating a complete new codebase? Or has this changed for refactoring and further development of the existing one?

Nice to hear, thank you guys and thanks for all the incredibly hard work getting to this position.

As others have mentioned though, I feel it's time to revisit the integration of Tidal, as it's now BY FAR (literally 50 votes more) the most voted feature request.

Everyone wants it.

I'm so incredibly bored of having to use two laptops at my private and corporate gigs, one with Traktor and one with Serato, so I can efficiently take requests from my crowds.

Flexible beatgrids, stems and Tidal would complete the set for me.

It could support static beatgrids as option and that way also stay compatible with already analysed tracks. Depends on how they implement it.

No.

It will probably be similar to what's in serato or rekordbox now. Where you have the option to align the grid to tracks where fluctuating BPM or where the BPM suddenly changes.

@Friedemann_NI So, to sum this up, we've been waiting almost 3 months (from the latest Roadmap update in December 2023, which stated that these above mentioned features are in research/development) to hear that you're working on those. Dope announcement, just make sure that both of these somehow end up in the Plus subscription so we have to pay for them :)

Where are you with the development, ETA on the Beta, anything useful of info? Talk about being transparent is not going the way it's supposed to be or the last year...

With over 9 months left in 2024, it's vague to only say these features will come out this year - when is the beta expected to be launched? These announcements are nice but aren't very helpful without some sort of timeline. In the past year we saw software additions and hardware launches that weren't priorities to the Traktor community, we just want to know how close we truly are.

you guys just repeat what you said months ago! I check the forum everyday and try to tell myself to believe u guys, but you just tell us wait again and again, and then I got nothing in the latest announcement... cant believe
