I am using now a iMac model 2014 (intel). Bought a Mac mini m2 pro. (How) can I migrate all NI-products to my new Mac?

Time Machine + Migration Assistant: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102613

At least if you want to avoid manually reinstalling everything.

What are the MacOS versions of both computers?

    Thanks.

Catalina 10.15.7 on the iMac. Ventura on the Mac mini M2pro.

    I just migrated recently myself...

How I handle migration is to hang on to all the library data, projects, and a small handful of data in the user folder. Then I'll basically reinstall everything else, focusing on the main things I need, then slowly installing other things over the coming weeks, or as I need them.

It's a much longer, more involved process but you end up purging all the old obsolete data that you no longer need that could be cluttering up your file system and slowing things down. Your system will end up being much healthier for it.

Some software will require you to deauthorise your older system, just so you can authorise the newer one. Keep an eye out for those. Waves plugins will require you to transfer the licenses back to the cloud or to an external USB drive, as an example.

Thanks Simon. I was successful in reinstalling all NI-stuf. It was possible on my account to perform a full download. By the way: the same was with my LogicPro (but that is of course native apple ware).

Good to hear that it all worked out for you. As simple as many of these things can be, every so often something will arise that will throw a spanner in the works 😳😖🙃
