Komplete S88 MKII Sustain Pedal problems
I've tried everything, resetting the midi mapping in the komplete kontrol app to the ones listed on their website, buying a new pedal that is listed as officially compatible, configuring different pedal ports (A and B), switching the pedal polarity, it just will not work. Idk what to do :(
Anything else I should try?

can you spell out in detail what the actual problems are that you're having? you mention that you are having problems, and what you've done to try to solve them, but there is no information about what the actual problem is.

The pedal is not operating like at all. (No effect on audio) I've tested multiple instruments (mostly pianos)

@Sanathetoad Does it happen in Komplete Kontrol in standalone or in your DAW, or both? What model is your sustain pedal? Have you checked the MIDI activity when you press the pedal? How to Monitor the Input of a MIDI Controller

I have the same issues... The pedal get sometimes maped to the arrow on my computer keyboard. It's so piss off :) The problems stay a couple day than leave and come back again. I think about sell my keyboard cause native instrument support have no answer to this problem... Even when the map is correct ,the pedal respond differently even if you put the same weight on it or sometimes don't work at all. I think the problem is the keyboard for a 1200dollar Controller I can't believe it 🤬 If someone find a solution, I will appreciate ;...

@trusty Can you give more details? I'm having a hard time understanding this sentence: "The pedal get sometimes maped to the arrow on my computer keyboard." Is it happening in Komplete Kontrol in standalone, in a DAW? Which DAW? Is it happening with all instruments?

I have the same problem, resetting smc is not possible on mac m1, according to apple it is done when restarting the computer, ventura 13.5.2 mac m1, s88 mk 2, m audio sp2, midi view only receives sustain signal when the configuration of komplete kontrol is in continuous mode, in switch mode there are no signs of life, if I connect my sustain pedals to other devices like ableton push they work correctly, I have tried everything and nothing works, I am receiving support from native instruments, but it has not been possible find a solution

Hello, thank you Jeremy, yes I have tried everything, restarting SMC, checking configuration, reversing polarity, changing USB port, changing pedal port and nothing seems to work, I have followed all the recommendations that appear on the web, in fact the I bought the pedal yesterday because of the compatibility list and it didn't work. I think the ideal would be to be able to reset the hardware but there is no such option.
