thanks, but I´ll not watch such Videos. Why? simple: I´m from end 80s in the scene and decided always what I want to hear, and when I started DJing what I want to play 😎 and f.e. "EDM" was a name which was okay someday because it meant all genres together, since some years it´s a genre for itself, and guys started to call there things then "electronic music", which was in the past also something different (JMJarre,Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Harold Faltermeyer etc.) so that shows me another reason to not watch those "Genre A vs Genre B" vids 😝

and that you just want a good mix is the right way and I´ll try to give you that in the future - and always be so kind to say if something isn´t good (helps me 2 learn)

The strings in this are epic sounding, love that! The drums are kind of taking away how majestic those strings are, for me anyway. You should, if you don’t know it already, listen to the the Clark mix of Peter by Nils Frahm. I feel you could do something like that with this track. Love it, great work!

Latest one on the + done with the Iridium. All done in standalone, 3 instances of Massive and 1 of Monark. Resampled the Iridium and then used a pad sound from it in realtime to adjust the cutoff. A lot of FX used as well. CPU was eaten up by the Massive arp sound but it just did'nt sound as good when I resampled it.

here it is: the 1st Trance-Set in 2024 from Xerabis, this time 2 hours full of Emotional- and Uplifting Trance

I tried something from another forum: taking the "s" from "https" away and now the preview is visable 😁

Honestly, I like the vocals, even more than those of the original song.

However, the guitar is a bit too loud at the beginning of the cover, while the keys are a bit too quiet!

Overall, good cover!

Don't give up and continue experimenting with different ways to mix!
