Legacy Native Access stuck on Download Fail?
Hi all,
Currently running Mac OS X 10.9.5 and was finally able to install the legacy Native Access from the legacy page this afternoon. Upon completion of setting up in the Applications, I get a searching for latest updates screen which is also accompanied by "Download Failed." I've included a photo for reference.
Is there any way to bypass the latest update scan? I need this in order to activate some products on the system, but fear I cannot get past this screen. Yes, my computer is connected to the internet and working properly (as I'm posting this from the same Mac).
Any suggestions are appreciated. Much thanks!

Hello,
those versions should not get an update or look for them. Have you tried to install other versions before 1.1.3? Then maybe clean up the install folder and download na1.1.3 again and install it.

Thanks for the suggestions. When I viewed the legacy versions, 1.1.3 was the only option available to download for my OS. Would anything prior be in the download folder, by chance, that would allow me to revert to a previous version? As far as the install folder, there is nothing showing in the contents folder that what I can see would require cleaning up. Of course, I am by no means a Mac programmer so any insight on how to do any of the above would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a windows user, so I also don't know, maybe that helps.

Appreciate it. Unfortunately, that will wipe all my VSTs, which are all currently working. Moons ago when the service center was the way to get things done, everything loaded without a hitch. Now, the only way I can get any new instruments (even from Heavyocity) is through the NI Native Access...which is a bummer. Money wasted if I cannot get this figured out. :( Thanks again for your efforts. Happy New Year!

You should not delete your vst's of course, just the native access folder and install again. But i will mark @Kaiwan_NI I think we need some expert with mac stuff. Or try to contact support here, will of course take a while:

I appreciate it. I've gone ahead and removed the Native Access application and the Contents folder (to my knowledge, this is the way to fully uninstall an application on Mac OS) and reinstalled the Native Access from the download on the legacy NI page. Same error, unfortunately.
Also found a few pages here where Mac OS users were having the same error but no resolution had been provided from support. There was a Windows version that showed firewall and Windows setting workarounds, but nothing for Mac users.
Again, appreciate all the conversation. Hopefully, we can get a Mac solution that others can also benefit from. Thanks again!
