Arranger improvements

As others have said: Tempo/Time Signature Track. The grid needs to adapt dynamically to those changes so that we can see what the beat divisions look like. I don't want to have to think like "Okay, I want to make a pattern in 3/8 time so I need to adjust the pattern grid to show me eight notes, then I need to hold shift on the controller and change the pattern length so that it ends on a multiple of 3...". I just want to be able to see a grid in 3/8 time & hear the metronome in that time when I need it, then switch to another pattern and see the grid/hear the metronome in whatever timing it's in.
- Record a performance to the arranger (including lock states)

Overall, I guess recording easier into the arranger, be it live pattern / scene switches, live recording audio into it.

I think I echo many others here when I say that an overall better UI that illustrates the most important design lesson: Form = Function. Great functionality will express itself through great aesthetics)form and visa versa. For example:
1. There is no master fader level in the mixer view on the hardware where it is needed - always in the mixer view - no matter what mode. Both highly functional but also aesthetically makes sense to always have an eye on the master levels in mixer hardware view.
2. Better hardware/software integration. Press mixer on the hardware and I should see it on my computer monitor, for example.
3. More color graduations/choices for overall better color cohesiveness on projects with lots of groups/tracks.
4. To see some sort of indicator on the pattern rectangle/block to show progress of pattern loop would make a lot of sense and visually communicate much more clearly what is going on. For ex. If the pattern is half way through its loop cycle, then the pattern rectangle/bar should indicate that.
5. I see the "ideas mode" as the performance, improvisation, or live mode. Please don't change that too much to the point that it looses it's efficiency. 🙂

A separate quantise setting for pattern launch (eg similar to scenes, or the way Ableton launches clips)

There is something that baffled me when I learned the ins and outs of Maschine
One pattern contains several events in Sounds
One Scene contains several patterns in Groups
One Section contains.... only one scene?!
I don't understand.
Naturally, or so I thought, one section should contain several scenes to form larger structural blocks. I can work with how the arranger is set up. But I still think the section feature is kind of redundant or not well designed. Consider the possibilities of forming blocks of sequential scenes! Looping just three sections, making use of all of the modulation/automation features and live pad playing I could perform intricate song structures without having to copy anything.
I guess this would be a major overhaul, but regardless of that I just wanted to point that out. It's like a stone in my shoe when I work with the arranger, meaning, I can walk, but I can't stop thinking about it.

loop selection zone perfectible in arranger mode

Combine clips and patterns into one cohesive entity. Clips are super confusing atm and totally feel like an after the fact slapped on thing.

Make clips work more like patterns. Give us the ability to right click on a clip and choose from a group of clips like we can do with patterns.
Example..
Select - Clip 1
............ Clip 2
............ Clip 3
............ Clip 4
............ Clip 5

For plugins and effects to be displayed vertically instead of horizontally. It is much more intuitive to scroll up and down than left to right and align with how it is presented in other places in the software.
shift + left click brings back volume level on master level on the top of the window to default position.

Scenes were hard to addapt to but with Clips Arrangement become much easier, less scary but better more precise Modulation and I am thinking about Basic for fade in and fade out shapes using 2 points compared to current pencil tool and multiple drawing takes and same is with encoders, still Maschine is capable for complete Music Production from start to finish...i don't think it's appropriate for me to share my Art profile and music here but I do everything in Maschine and I miss small things.

I was thinking how to solve this thing you are mentioned and I am recording audio and I do preparations and I do it successfully but it would easier for me if I could record everything as Automation/ Modulation.

Be good if we could use lock states for arrangements, then we wouldn't need to duplicate so many patterns and sounds to provide variations, especially where we want to mute parts out, you can't just mute a sound because it won't play then in the patterns you do want it to play in.

Easy fade in fade out. One possible suggestion would be to select a start and end point for the fade with a function to edit the length. The start and end point could be joined with a straight line to indicate the fade. This would be an ascending line for fading in and a descending line for fading out.

My main thing with Arranger is that it should be possible to view the ideas window at the same time and that we should be able to select a whole group of scenes and move them at once.

- importing and exporting of midi Into/from clips
- merging consecutive clips on the song timeline
- merging patterns within a group
