    They got let go ... Vote up is pretty much just a like and vote down doesn't actually bring much value imo.

    Is there a way to stop notifications for certain threads while letting it active for others?

    Most forums let you subscribe/insubscibe to individual threads.

    There isn't unsubscribe/subscribe if that's specifically what you are looking for.

    You can use bookmarks if you want to be notified on specific conversations. You can change the settings in your preference under "Notify me when people comment on my bookmarked discussions".

    What exactly does “dismiss” do? I just pressed it on @Matt @ NI code of conduct thread as it remained bold even after reading. It certainly dismissed the bold letters and thread entirely!🙀

    It's just to dismiss announcement. It's actually quite handy if you don't want to see the same thing over and over.

    The activity box is kinda your profile wall where you see what's happening and where others can write on. We had a similar one on the old forum.

    If I use flag ››› report the forum gave me an entry in Discussion. Is it for remembering? I don't open a thread.

    Yes, it creates a discussion so we can answer your report. Once we sent you a reply, the report is marked as close and deleted at the end of the week 🙌

    Like on most of online communities you cannot delete your own posts. You can still edit them afterward tho.

    BUG report for "Ask A Question" type posts:

    When I "ask a question", then get an answer and then discuss that answer, there is a very important error in displaying the "chosen answer". It is moved to the top of the discussion, which is fine IF (and only IF) the answer also is still displayed in the conversation. You currently move the selected answer entirely to the top. Which makes reading that chosen answer for others completely impossible. Please change that, or thousands of answers will be taken out of their contexts and render this upgrade of the community a downgrade, I'm afraid.
