@SebastianE What S4 are you using? The mk3? I'm not 100% sure if that is your issue, but try to change from relative to absolute pitch slider mode in the s4 settings.

I preferer relative mode, once you get to know it.

In relative mode, you can press shift + pitch slider to to move it, without it affecting the software. For example you can move it all the way to the top with shift, and you now have the whole slider to pitch it faster.

Also if the pitch is changed because of software (sync, or you load a new track) and the fader would be in the "wrong" position in absolute mode, it does not matter.

In my opinion, you should use the in-DAW tempo changing if you use the DAW sometimes.

you mean, manipulating the tempo in the software with the mouse/trackpad? This doesn*t work neither when the problem occurs (which is not always the case or only after some time playing)

Apple MacBook Pro M1 (2021), macOS Ventura 13.1, Traktor Pro 3.10 (previously 3.9)

So you have the tempo changing feature here, don't you?

If DAW = Traktor Pro 3.10 then yes

I recommend play around with settings a little bit and some experimentation.

@lord-carlos It looks like that did the trick! Thanx a lot! I changed it some time ago tor relative mode, forgot why I did it, probably some tutorial I watched. What is the difference between absolute and relative mode? Can't find anything on that topic in the official manual.
