artwork mystery
Dont know if Im alone on this, but I like to pin my apps to a taskbar for ease of opening apps, but I struggle with the logic of NI`s decisions on the taskbar buttons.
Native access is a big N.
Kontakt 7 is for some mysterious reason KT,
Komplete Kontrol again strangely is KO (see screenshot)
for the thick people like me may I suggest
Native Access could possibly be NA
Kontakt 7 could be K7
Komplete Kontrol maybe KK
seems logical to me

More distinct icons would be even better, on several occasions I have accidentally opened Native Access instead of one of the others, these boring samey icons are not useful in distinguishing products visually.

I too dislike the new all-black icons. I actually had developed an eye for the Kontakt, Battery, FM8, and other icons based on the age-old symbols that, along with their respective color palates, were unique for each instrument. The new ones are messing me up big time. Like the OP, the NI-chosen abbreviations don't match the abbreviations in my head. My head matches the shorthand we use in this forum, by the way. In the Komplete Kontrol forum, everybody calls it "KK". Who the hell thought it would be a good idea to make up their own abbreviations? "KO"? Really? NI, we really need to talk.

Absolutely 'KO' is not 'OK'!!

I know, right? "KO" is Knock Out, which is what happens in boxing and MMA. Referencing your flagship hardware interface middleware with something that means getting knocked unconscious (to probably half the English-speaking world); that's just wrong!
