Is a hidden bluetooth fonction implemented on maschine plus ?

Or planned for a future update ?

The last survey NI did there were multiple questions about Bluetooth. So maybe we will see it the future?

Note that is both a Bluetooth and WiFi card. They could have put the logo on the box because there are plans to use it eventually for BT or they might be obligated since it's a dual card, no idea about the international laws about this stuff.

Most likely... It has the capabilities since the card is there the only question is if they look at Bluetooth as a priority, my guess is most users didn't vote for BT.

For audio I'd say don't even dream about it, too much latency but for MIDI it could be handy for a small number of users.

Another thing that makes me wonder about NI decisions: if you already have a BT module inside your product, why not allowing it????

And I’m not so sure it would be “handy for a small number of users”. Think about how many people has an iPhone or iPad, which has maaaaany very cheap midi apps…

One example: I’ve seen many discussions here about Scaler 2 not being usable inside Maschine.

Scaler 2 on iPad is FREE, or 19 bucks to have all functionalities, and having it communicating with my Akai Force or MPC Live 2 is something I ALWAYS do. Think how wonderful it is: an iPad touchscreen to manage/play all my chords duties without even have to lose focus by opening a plug-in window… THIS is something I would do with Maschine+ all the time
