It will be like Kontakt: only VST3 is a universal build with both intel and Apple Silicon binaries.

We do not build VST2 for Apple Silicon mainly because Steinberg dropped VST2 support and the existing VST2 SDK does not support Apple Silicon. But we will still deliver the intel VST2 plugin, because this is needed to be able to recall existing Host projects which were created with Reaktor VST2 instances and the host does not support VST2->VST3 plugin migration.

I created a bug report for this, would be good if you would join the beta on centercode when we start it, so we can track the issue there.

Great news. Does this mean that Reaktor based instruments (like Monark) will also become available with this beta or only the full Reaktor software?

Once Reaktor is ported, all Reaktor based instruments and tools should run natively.

There is no Apple Silicon SDK for VST2, so most plug-in that updates are dropping VST2 on macOS.
Most are also dropping VST2 on Windows at the same time, cause it doesn't make sense to devote resources to maintain the VST2 only on Windows systems. Most hosts support VST3 or AudioUnits, at this point, or you can use the VST2 Komplete Kontrol (on Windows) to load it within your DAW.
The only major production software that I've used lately that lacks VST3 support is Akai's MPC 2 Software.
I think NKS compatibility is the only reason to keep the VST2 around.

Would love to be a beta tester for this but every attempt to create an account for the testing community fails. I never receive the email address verification email. Did anyone have the same problem and manage to solve it please?

Not sure if this is the proper time to bring this up but since VST3 is suppose to be more sample accurate, is it possible to report the ensemble's latency to the DAW. There were several requests under feature request I believe.
