Invalid serial number

I just bought a second hand controller on Facebook market but the controller has a serial number on the back. I logged into my native access and when I tried to add the serial number it says its invalid. Any help?

Contract the seller and ask for the software to be transferred. NI has step by step guides on what the seller and buyer needs to do.
