Traktor S3 no sound out

Yesterday I purchased a tractor S3 controller and since connecting it I have not been able to get any sound out to my active speakers.
I have downloaded the latest Traktor Pro 3 software and updated to the latest version of firmware for the controller but still no joy.
Help please!!
