Assign knobs and faders in Komplete 13 Select instruments VST

Hi there! I'm fairly new to keyboards, MIDI, etc. I seem to be unable to assign the knobs and faders on my keyboard (Nektar Impact LX88+) to the controls in the Komplete instruments when using it as a VST in Studio One 6, Windows 11 OS. I can however assign the knobs and faders just fine when using Komplete as a stand-alone app. Any advice for a newbie? Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

first, have you set all up like shown here https://nektartech.com/studio-one-setup-and-troubleshooting-impact/ , then press "instr" and use the "Link" Feature, I'm not a S1 user myself but you will find information about that "link" feature on the internet or the S1 manual. Those nektar keyboards and controllers are really good and well integrated in most daws.

    Hello,

try to ask in the S1 forum, it's the S1 automation system that you need to set up correctly, as I described in my post.

If you want to use your keyboard as desired, it must have a template set up/shown in External Instruments. And when you double click the instrument, your template pops open. If Studio does not support your keyboard (meaning providing a preconfigured template) you can easily create your own. You might want to check out my youtube video on this subject. I did not use your keyboard for the tutorial but the methodology is this same regardless.
