Traktor does't show played tracks as played anymore

Hi Community,

I do not know why, but since a periode of time, my Traktor 3 (3.6.1 326) does not show my played tracks as played anymore. Normally there is a hook in the beginning of the playlist and it is not high coloured as played anymore. What do I have to do, that it appears again?

Maybe I need to change the setup. Can anybody help me please?

Make sure that the played-state is set to 5-15 seconds and not a whole minute. You can do this in Preferences. I can think of no other reason you should have this problem other than you having played a track for less time than is defined in the settings.

Thanks for the help, but it still does not show the played tracks.

Are there any other changes that I can do to fix it.

Make sure the "Icons" column is selected in the browser and that it is wide enough for the icons to appear.

hi, i have the same problem, tried all these suggestions but still no marks for the played state.

This is new for me, normally i always see the ticks so help is appreciated

A track is only considered being played by the software if the line fader and crossfader aren't closing the channel. If you are only listening to the track via cue monitor then this may be the problem.

thank you for answering but i do not understanding what you mean by closing the channel. I played my gig as usual sending the sound to the output. A few tracks were marked but most of them were not.

never had this problem before

With 'closed' i meant 'not-on-air'.

Ok so that did not solve it because i was playing the tracks.

I just tried again without my S4, just on my MAC and played a song on the A Deck, more than a minute.

play count in Transport is set to 4.5 sec

second column is set to icons which shows nothing

as you can see, even the play count stays on 0, no show of the deck that i am using in Icons and no tick.

Yes. The solution is to make the colomn wider :D. I had the same problem. Please try it.

The play count is a column. But only shows the count.

The column needed is the "icon" column. And for it to be wide enough to see all icon types.

The check mark is played tracks. Clicking the column top cycles through the icon types.

Ive been also googling this issue because in my opinion, its faaar better to have the song change color as it does on all other softwares. The eye recognizes different color immediately, while with the tick first I need an extra column (and I know its only a tick wide) + I need to pay additional attention to the tick. The color change would be, and is, way simpler and more effective.
