I have the same issue on my new MacBook Pro (M1 Pro) with Ventura. The storage format is APFS. Is the devs working on this?

@unfoundplayer Have you given Full Disk Access to Native Access and the NTKDaemon, as explianed in this article? Native Access Error Message: "Installation Failed" (Mac)

Experiencing the same "Download Failed" issue as many have mentioned here when I try to reinstall or repair some libraries (I can see the folders on the drive but it won't work when I try to load them in Kontakt). (MacOs Monterey / M1)

I've given full disk access to Native Access and the NTKDaemon, changed permissions on folders, and checked the APFS disk format, and the issues still happening. So I am not able to use or reinstall certain Kontakt libraries.

All these issues with the Native Access installer and library management it's what makes me abandon NI bit by bit. At the moment I'm only using a few things from my Komplete 11 Ultimate and apparently, I gonna have to give up on these few ones too.

Not sure what else should I try, any idea of what can I be missing

@Error82 What products are affected? What happens when you try to open these Kontakt libraries? Do you get an error message? Can you post it here?

@Jeremy_NI - I have given full disk approval to both NA & the NTKDaemon.

    I have just switched over from a 2019 intel Mac to a 2023 M3.

Previously, I had all of my synths and instruments (Massive, FM8, Kontakt, etc) installed on the intel computer with no problem, and my libraries (40's, Alicias, etc) on a Glyph SSD. Everything was fine.

Now switching to my M3, Native Access is unable to install any of the mentioned synths and plugins on the actual computer. I get this error message after the selected plugin installs:

But as you can see from the first screenshot, I've already done this. So I have no idea how to fix this.

Also, NA is having an issue locating any of the content on my SSD. Anytime I set the path, I get this error:

Very confused and irritated, any help is appreciated!

@Jeremy_NI I had submitted a ticket before making this post, but no one's gotten back to me.

    -----------------------------------

In the meantime, I think I figured out the issue, and I'm sure this will help my fellow Mac Silicon users.

    The below is from UAD.

    -----------------------------------

[After I did this (and thought 'what if' this helped NA), I was able to install everything fine]

[NA was also able to locate all the libraries on my external HD]

    -----------------------------------

Start the computer in macOS Recovery

    1. Shut down the computer.
    2. Press and hold the power button on your Mac until you see “Loading startup options.”
    3. Click Options, then click Continue.
    4. If requested, enter your account password.

    Set the security policy

    1. In the Menu Bar, choose Utilities > Startup Security Utility
    2. Click on the system drive you want to use to set the security policy.
    3. Click Security Policy, select the Reduced Security option, and enter your password if requested.
    4. Check the “Allow user management of kernel extensions from identified developers” option.
    5. Click OK, then restart your Mac for the changes to take effect

Hi, there's no-way to setup different folders from default in NA.

For KT Library, Solution that worked for me after grantig full disk access to NA and NKT:

    • download and install all library you want in the default NI Location
    • once you have installed, copy the library content to drive/folder you like
    • delete library from default folder
    • launch NA and repair/relocate your library to your new folder

Wrong thread, my question wasn't about locating libraries:

It was about allowing NA/NKT to correctly grant access on the new Mac M1+ models, and to do that it involved manually accessing the security settings that UAD had already figured out (which I said above).
