Unplugging m32 without ejecting

Hello guys hope you are doing well. So i just bought a m32 midi controller and i was wondering when i’m finished doing my thing, is it necessary to eject the device safely or can i just unplug it.
i know ejecting may sound easy but reason is that when click on eject it says that the hardware is still running and every time i end relative tasks from task manager the next time i plug m32 it goes to midi mode and i cannot use it properly.
peace❤️
