A61 key operation

So I migrated to a new maschine after a 2 year hiatus,during which the controler was idle but safely stored.The pc has an MSi Z490-A Pro mobo,and i9 109000 cpu,an rtx gfx not sure about psu(some noctua)..

The issue is that the keybed does not have good responsive function,or no respone at times , specialy in the middle octaves,without though the keys being "dead",but instead lagging either in a DAW or in Komplete standalone.On the other hand the rest keys function properly.I tried to tweek power settings in the os and the mobo bios ,but nothing has changed.

Any guidance or advise would be appreciated.

Tweaking USB power setting usually is only required for USB on OS level and then only for power saving settings.

I must confess that your description leaves me rather confused.

Generally then with respect to USB and power then either the units work or they do not work , though not being an electronics expert majoring in NI keyboards then I can't exclude problems of a type I never heard of.

Lagging in general usually suggests a software problem of some kind or a PC resource problem.

Either way then at a glance then it could look like if the 'safely stored' were maybe not so safely stored anyway ?

However then I wouldn't say that any one explanation here necessarily fits it all…
