Enable Jog mode in MX2 when initializing Traktor Pro 4.5.

Question

I had a problem as a Traktor mx2 novice and it's that if it's in TT Mode it goes to take the top part and the song stops and everything goes out of sync.

To solve the problem I asked the question on reddit and having a discussion with Sulherokhh, we arrived at the solution of inserting the line value: true in the line 365 // Jogwheel // in the MX2Deck.qml file, Change the behaviour of the initialisation of the MX2 tractor from TT Mode to Jog Mode.

The complete code is as follows:

So the question is:

Can a button be placed within the properties of Traktor Mx2 that can change the behaviour when starting the program? The codes are already written and the change is minimal.

Change this:

path: module.propertiesPath + ".jog_mode"

to this:

path: "mapping.settings." + module.index + ".jog_mode"

This will result in Traktor remembering the last setting of each jogwheel when exiting the program.

I would, but i can only do this with mapping threads.

Regarding the button: OP would like to have a setting that can be toggled via Preferences (would have to be done by NI) or some controller setting that gets saved for later sessions.

@Gonzalo1980 : I'll get back to you with the details after i studied the MX2 code details some more. It will be a small change with the code section you already posted, changing the Property from a 'state' that resets to default after each restart to a 'mapping' that will save the last change inside the mapping file to be used next time Traktor starts.

You guys can try to output the signal from Send Monitor State output which is triggered each time Traktor is initialized.
