Swap Tap And Metro

Is there a script or something that I can swap the tap tempo and the metronome? So that I press the button to toggle the metronome, and I have to hold shift to use the tap tempo.

Since we all use the metronome thousands and thousands of times more often then the tap tempo, I shouldn't have to start ranting about how stupid it is to put the metro behind the shift layer.
