Just ordered and received a brand new K3.
My impressions:
- Excellent build quality. Couldn't be better.
- Very nice customizable LED's. Too bad not all of them are available (per LED) at the same time.
- Satisfying clicky feeling of the buttons. Glad the faders are not as loose as they where on my old K2. Now i can angle the device without fear of faders dropping on their own.
- Looks very elegant from all angles. Still heavy enough to not move around when using the controls.
- All my old mappings still work (my biggest fear did not materialize).
- No audio interface. So Traktor (and windows) doesn't automatically switch to it's use, which is how i like it. Always used separate interfaces anyway, and what the K2 provided wasn't really top notch.
- Very, very decent price. Really.
- Only gripe: Use of different colours on the same LED still requires a workaround. I'll post it in a bit for anybody interested.
