Mac Os 27 Golden Gate Compatibility

Hey everyone, MacOs 27 was released on September 14th. As usual for any operating system update, we don't recommend to update at the moment as we are still conducting tests to ensure full compatibility across our extensive port folio. Please note that the latest Native Access version (3.6.0) dropped Rosetta support as it was blocking Native Access and the NTKDaemon on MacOS 27 Beta. So, even if our products are not officially supported, people who get a new mac with 27 on it can at least install their products.

Been using macOS Golden Gate for several weeks. Native Access was the only issue that gave any issues. With that fixed, everything has been working great for me.

If anything, macOS 27 feels like some deeper system level things are better than ever.

Very happy to have jumped in.

Of course not. It is a major design direction across all devices. It has been refined and there are options to customize the degree of transparencies as per user desire.

This is great to know! I'm finishing up my laptop PC updates for all my DAW stuff, will take a backup, and will shut it down for a few weeks to make room for getting my M1 MBP up to speed. Part of that will be to upgrade to MacOS 27. I probably have several days of updating everything from all my Steinberg DAW+instruments, Spectrasonics, Native Instruments and other software. It's going to be a lot of work, but I've been wanting to gain experience in the Mac ecosystem.

I'll also be setting up a new photography post-processing workflow on both PC and Mac. I've got more than 10,000 photos that need to be processed, so I'm going to put that M1 through some work, but I am definitely looking forward to an eventual upgrade to M6 or even M7 sometime in '27 or '28 (whenever pro and max chips come out).

I'm mostly a Windows person, so this is both scary and exciting for me.😲😁
