Obtaining License for secondhand Mk2

Hi there! I just bought a Mk2 off of facebook marketplace today, and the seller said they dont have the license nor the transfer key. Is there a way to transfer the license to my NI account? If not, is there an alternative place where I can find the proper software? I know the Mk2 is legacy hardware, not sure what software i actually need. Thank you.

but i don’t see any option to contact support directly aside from posting a question. the “contact us” on the bottom just loops back to the support page.

Please contact N.I. Support , use the bot Riff to open a ticket , tell Riff that the suggestions do not help and that you want to open a ticket and have human support assistance.

i appreciate the heads up on the delay too :) how noticeably delayed are we talking?

I am sorry , but as a Moderator here then I do not have any access to such information. I have just seen several people telling that there are delays. But from what I have seen the the previous a couple of days now at the moment easily becomes a week. Anyway , if you succeed in properly opening a ticket using the bot then you should receive a ticket confirmation..

You need to contact N.I. Support and ask them to transfer the device to your account (also include picture of serial on bottom of device as well as purchase receipt.) . Then if whoever the device is presently registered to do not object if/when contacted by NI then NI Support will transfer it to you and you should also receive any base software for the device if any…

Please notice that there are noticeable delays on NI Support at the moment.
