Traktor S4 Mk3 Controller jumping beat on cue

When I press the CUE button on a track that isn’t playing through the speakers, the beat suddenly jumps. I have already reinstalled the latest version of the software, but the problem is still happening.

I’m not sure what else I can try, and it’s becoming very frustrating, especially as I use the software for live DJ gigs. I really need the CUE function to work reliably without affecting the beat or playback.

Please can you advise me on what could be causing this and how I can fix it?

Oh, btw, for the Traktor S4 Mk3 a new driver has been released yesterday. I would download that and use ASIO. It's the best in my experience. https://support.native-instruments.com/support/solutions/articles/69000882238-native-instruments-drivers-other-files#Traktor-Kontrol-S4-MK3

Does this happen every time, with every track? Or just sometimes?

I never experiences this. I wonder if it's some "master track" shenanigans or something.

Personaly I think its a software issue/glitch as it only started doing this with the new software upgrade installed 2 weeks ago, I never had this issue before for years, I'm stressed as I have 7 gigs from now until the end of the month and a massive gig tomorrrow, I have to pause the track that I just played and not touch the cue botton to avoid the jump on the existing track playing through the main speakers of the club. I only use Native Traktor s4 Mk3 for all my gigs.

If it's only the current release, you can start the previous release from the backup folder that Traktor created.
