Pressing pads trigger 16th pad, 16 pad plays randomly on it's own, any suggestions?

I was recently chopping up some samples, and noticed that after pressing a few pads on Maschine MK3, the 16th pad (top right) was triggering. And then it would randomly trigger on its own, at random and then constantly over and over. I muted the sample. Applied my chops to a new group, deleted the original group/pattern and sample. I double checked to  ensure I was up to date on all firmware, software and OS and everything is good to go. And as I type this, my MK3 just randomly shut itself off. Any help would be greatly appreciated - or am I hooped?

Some guys had luck with cleaning the pads or somehow fix the black rectangles with some spray or whatever (can´t remember it right now) but i don´t recommend to do this yourself, until you know what you are doing and guaranty is long gone. But you can find it easily online like:

I thought maybe it was my hub after you mentioned it. It's a rather high end one too. So I went and got a new USB-B to USB-C cable, high data transfer speed. Same problem is persisting.

Either the 16th pad does not play, or it triggers something else, or another pad triggers the 16th one. Very odd.

seems to be two issues, you could try a midi monitor app and press some pads with maschine in midi mode, then see if pad 16 still triggers randomly. Maybe test another usb port, a hub can also make issues.
