I'd like to be able to make a loop that honors when I press the record button to stop it. For instance I hit record, I play 2 bars of notes, then 2 bars of nothing, then hit record again - that should result in a 4 bar loop, instead of trimming it down to 2 bars.
It could be a checkbox in the Default tab under Grow Pattern while Recording - "Trim Pattern" or something like that. It could be on by default to preserve existing behavior.
There are known workarounds but it seems crazy a workaround is needed for something so basic. I can't really imagine a scenario where I would want 4 bars trimmed to 2, why wouldn't I just stop the recording earlier?
