Macbook Air M2 ventura 13.0 + Final scratch a6 + traktor pro 4 issue (soundcard not visible)

Hello,

After some years of not dj-ing I want to pick it up again.
In the past with my old macbook air I used the following set up:

2 cdj-800's (old but still working!)
Xone 44
Final scratch A6 + timecode cd's (DVS)
not sure which traktor version but very old.

Yesterday I bought Traktor pro 4 and I am trying to connect my Final scratch A6 to my macbook air, but it is not working.

Traktor does not recognize my audio card. I did manage to give traktor pro 4 access to the microphone, but apart from that no sign of the audio soundcard.
Also I do not see it in my macbook (by checking audio-midi settings)

Does anyone have an idea what I can do, or it this just a dead end? If so what are my options when I want to have my current set up?

Also I see conflicting messages about the compatibility, so not sure if it is compatible at all, which is a pity as I just bought Traktor pro 4.

Thx for this Sûlherokhh. It's clear now that this cannot work. As I have the Traktor Audio 4 DJ (Scratch a6). I see this here:
The following older NI devices require a driver installation:

Audio 2 DJ
Audio 4 DJ
Audio 8 DJ

And when going to the driver page I see the latest driver is this: AUDIO 4 DJ Driver 2.8.0 - Mac OS X 10.9 - 10.11. So yeah this will not work I am afraid. Or maybe I am missing something?

I am no macOS expert so my assessment regarding this is of no worth. It's a bit of work to extract useful data from the knowledge base. You may be missing something so continuing to dig may still unearth a workaround.

On this page here it say macOS13 (Ventura) is compatible with A6.

Thanks for checking! I think I made a mistake in the naming (final scratch a6) It says clearly on the NI soundcard I have only the name audio 4 DJ.

It seems like for that one there is no possibility to get it to work: "macOS 10.15 (Catalina) terminated the operability of some legacy NI hardware. The same applies to macOS 11 (Big Sur), macOS 12 (Monterey), and macOS 13 (Ventura).

This includes MASCHINE MK1, MASCHINE MIKRO MK1, AUDIO 2 / 4 / 8 DJ, TRAKTOR AUDIO 2 MK1, and TRAKTOR KONTROL S2 / S4 / X1 MK1."

After trying a lot of things to make it work today I think it's best to give up. It really is a pity but I will hopefully find another solution to get something working with my timecode cd's and current set up with Xone 44 and cdj 800's. Now I just going to take out some old cd's (I have hundreds) and going to mix some techno, that will probably eleviate the irritation a bit :-).
