Hi everyone, I'm trying to sync Ableton Live 12 Suite (running on a Mac) and Maschine (running on a Windows PC). We initially tried syncing them via Ableton Link over a direct Ethernet connection, but we keep running into persistent network and firewall issues, and it just won't connect. Since Link isn't working out for our setup, I was wondering if it's possible to reliably sync Ableton and Maschine across two different computers using a third-party external MIDI clock or a network MIDI protocol (like rtpMIDI)? Any advice on the best hardware or software routing to achieve a stable sync would be greatly appreciated!
