Is it possible to apply Elements FX to a slice of an audio file

Evaluating trial of Reaper 7, Izotope subscription bundle.

I am new to mastering & new to Izotope.

I have a 40 minute wav file I would rather not split into parts.

I want to apply Elements FX to a specific part of this file. Can this be done ?

If not, does it depend on the host , maybe try an alternative to Reaper ?

Never mind, I got it to work:

1. Select Track FX to open track window
2. Deselect FX & select it
3. FX window, click on Param button , top right
4. Select menu option "Show Track Envelope"
5. An envelope track appears below the audio track.
6. Increase Height of the newly created envelope track
   The track will say "normal" on the left side.
   The envelope is a flat line.
7. Use mouse to drag the envelope to full height means
   the envelope is bypassed. Drag it down again to return
   to normal.
   OR
   Move envelope fader & move L/R, while holding down L mouse button.
   All the way to R, envelope text now says "bypassed" .
   All the way to L, text says "normal" .
   Release mouse button, fader returns to center
8. move pointer to desired posn where the envelope will start
9. to create an envelope node: have the envelope in bypass mode
   ( fully shaded ) Shift L click, at bottom of envelope track
   A node will be created
10. Create 2nd node: position cursor, Shift L click,
    at top of envelope track
11. Nodes can be dragged to L,R
