Why did they move the gain knob from the mixer view. That kills my workflow in gain staging samples. Brutal decision. Can they put it back in mixer view??
Any ideas or a different approach user using?

as far as i remember there never was a gain knob in the mixer for already recorded samples, just for the input (enable IO). Or can you please describe a bit more what do you exactly mean.

I could adjust the gain of samples and also see the value in the mixer view. I trim the gain for each hit to -18 to -10 and could click on the mixer value and leave the fader at o.

At around minute 9 he clearly uses the faders on the pad sound level. So you maybe mix up those levels and the group level, where all 16 pads go through if not routed otherwise. Or can you give me a time stamp.
Before you could go into zone and adjust the gain. Seems like that feature has moved from the mixer view. I guess i will have to use some gain plugin to measure and adjust in the mixer window.
This is how it looks now after update. Mixer view. sampler has (main) and (FX) No more ZONE here.
Maybe its just me effected bye the update. Maybe most people don't Gain Stage their samples
And leave the Fader and 0 db.
Ok now I got it and I never used it then I guess, I just watch that nothing overdrives and use the faders for mixing and with most plugins gain staging is not a thing anymore if it ever was. And if, I use the plugins input gain like a comp I have with threshold max at -10 dB and goes only down from there.foe example my good old red bus compressor. But of course annoying if you depend on that and it is our way of working.
