every time I get a ke I see disk access and I notice clicks gaps and distortion. Is there a buffer setting to make disk access less , it is a usb external SSD. Do we really need NVME for libraries as SSD is 500mb/sec

@Rnygren Even when using USB external SSDs it shouldn't cause this type of issues. What format is the drive? Could it be an issue with permissions on that drive? If you move a specific library to your system's drive do you experience the same?
