Traktor Pro Collection Playlist from old to new mac 1to1 copy?

Good evening, everyone.

I have a question regarding Traktor Pro 3. I bought another MacBook Pro 14" (M5, 16GB) and would like to transfer my entire collection, settings and Music from my old M1 MacBook Pro to the new one. On the new Mac, I partitioned the hard drive into two sections—just like on the old one—and named them exactly the same way.

I want to transfer all my curated playlists and settings from the old MacBook to the new one exactly as they are, without having to re-analyze everything, search for every single song again, or recreate playlists like "80s Ultimix," "Reggaeton/Moombahton," and "Funkymix." Can I simply copy the data files (collection.nml and traktorsettings.tsi) from the old Mac to the corresponding folders on the new Mac?

hi thanks for the link video and the help from your side experiences.

I replaced all the folder and files from Traktor Pro 4 folder into the Pro3 files. After restard i just must create a files but all works 1to1 exacly . No song searching, no analyse, all the same settings and folder like on Traktor pro3

There is a bit more to copy than just these two files.

If you just copy the collection.nml you lose the waveform etc. I would copy the hole folder.

Most important files/folders to copy are:

Complete folders : Coverart + Stripes + Transients.

File : collection.nml

If you need your archive , then also the History folder.

I always copy the complete version folder for simplicity when making a backup. And i also copy my main Traktor folder (in program files) to have all of my past Traktor versions contained in the backup subfolder as well as the most current version including the relevant qml files. But that's just me. :)
