How to get Maschine 2 to Function Properly - Factory Library Installed but Inaccessible

I recently switched from Windows 7 to MAC Tahoe. Ive installed Native Access and Maschine 2. Both the product and factory library have been installed and Native Access shows that.

However, although this is the case…the factory library seems to be inaccessible. Ive tried uninstalling Maschine and the factory library several times. Ive also rescanned the library/path several times from within Maschine.

Unfortunately non of this has made any difference. Ive searched the NI community and see that this seems to be a common problem but the resolution seems evasive. Other instruments and sounds show up fine but many (including the factory sample content/library simply arent accessible. Any help would be greatly appreciated

open the shared folder , go to native instrument/ maschine  and see if the factory library exists there

If it does , then in maschine , library paths , double click on the path , and redirect to the shared folder / maschine library

Then rescan

If it doesn’t exist, move it from the download folder and relocate it in native access

from your library location image, in maschine  , it looks like the library location is set to your

Downloads folder ,  users/daw/downloads

i can see the presets  , eg , accordion in the browser , does it not load ?

I do not have any Mac so I knows rather little about the consequences of path problems.   Also then the resolution of the Maschine picture showing the are too low to give any real information but from what I can see then it looks if the Factory library that you claims gives a problem (where others not) you for some strange reason have put in Users/DAW (or something like that) where what works you have put in Users/Shared.

You can try moving Kontakt libraries that gives a problem to same location as what works and then use the N.A: relocation feature :  Moving a Native Instruments Product to Another Location on Your Computer

Also , when on Mac then you also might want to check the :

ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon and DAW must have full disk access. : How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

If using Sequoia/Tahoe then if prompted to do so then N.I. apps must be added to the Local Network  (Ref. : How  to grant audio apps access to your local network on macOS 15 Sequoia)
