Closing Maschine window causes crash

Question

I have one quite small Maschine file that I created that causes a crash if I close the Maschine window in my host (Fender Studio Pro 8.1.1).  It works OK in standalone, but it crashes whether I use an Audio Unit or VST version of the plugin.

I can load any other Maschine file, other that this one that I made  (starting with a selection from the library).

I have tried everything I could think of, including the importing the (only) Group I am using into a clean Maschine file, but even that causes the crash. I have updated everything, including the OS (I had this problem before under Monterey). I turned off automatic backups, and plugin napping (the latter in the host).

There are no third party plugins used in this Maschine file, and I have deleted everything that I am not using. (Leaving very little.)

The only constant in everything I have tried is the file - it must be corrupted somehow.

HELP PLEASE.

have you got crash logs ?

You could contact support with those , or if you upload them here , I’ll post them over the beta forum

I normally get these when testing (Mac ) I only use standalone tho , so can’t comment on plugin and if others testing had issues with various daws
