Traktor Play and 3rd party controllers

I have a very cheap controller ("iDance VDJ" I believe) , I use it to do some basic scratches, not really to perform as a DJ (at least for now).

I've always used this device with virtual DJ, but I'd like to move to Traktor play.

I will be able to use any controller or there are limitations?

Go to Plug-And-Play at the bottom. Those three controllers. That's it.

It's way cheaper (and better) if you get X1/Z1 or MX2. These devices come with the full version, which is more than an upgrade. I've heard nothing good about Traktor Play from users, but i must confess that i never installed it to try it out.
