Not a Traktor use but it sounds to me like you may have allowed Smart App control to infect your Windows install.

This “tool” (part of the Defender suite) basically blocks anything and everything that it thinks is bogus.

You do not say what you saw Windows display about this being blocked - but this specific file must be installed on thousands on machines. If this was a wide spread issue - lots of folks would be here saying the same thing.

Thank you for your interest in my problem.

I have never activate smart app tool control in windows. Always disabled.

Here is the popup that I get when lauching virtualDJ. In english : The driver has been blocked. Does not follow the Windows driver strategy

I also have tracktor pro 3 and I have also an issue when trying to use my tracktor S2MK3. the same message/popup. It only work on wasapi mode. (But I prefer use VirtualDJ)

However - you do know that this driver dates to 2018 - WELL before Windows 11 and it also has a very blatant warning attached to it as well - right on the NI Site:

It tells you straight up that this driver is not certified (and given it's age - probably never will be).

Not exactly sure what you expect NI to do with this - odds are extremely high that this driver will never be revisited given this controller is now discontinued.

I have ever try to disable vulnerable driver blocklist, same issue.

The strange thing is that the issue come this month, in june I used my software with no problem.

That s why I think Microsoft may be the cause.

The answer when you say that NI will no longer revisite the driver, is not very acceptable, or may be NI think that we have money to spend every 2 years because the hardware is obsolete. Maybe I was right to think I should switch to a controller from another brand.

Hope I haven t to do this, i m probably not alone in that case.

As duly noted by @Sûlherokhh - it been 8 years.

Products come and go and that's it. Happens to every product, every day, somewhere.

Pretty sure NI is not concerned with your finances or even if you decide to switch controllers. That is your right. But it's also on you to know what happens when a product is retired - support ends and in this case that means drivers won't be fixed.

That said - if you still can't accept reality - the only other option is to install WIndows 10 and rock on. That OS was prime time when this driver was released and probably will allow you to keep on keeping on.

It's such a shame, when Xone and others can even release firmware after over 12 years :(

With NI it's always up to the community. Even making something simple like what Opa did with the x1 mk1.

Just curious, are MK1 and MK2 drivers still working on Win11?

Cannot test myself my S2 Mk2 is not hereby.

I don't care that the controller is 8 years old. I bought it brand-new 4 years ago, and now I can't even use it anymore.
First, I made a mistake by using Traktor 3, then Traktor 4. And now I realize that the hardware was also a mistake.
And based on your responses, I now see that NI is also a mistake.
Conclusion? bye bye NI.
