Traktor Kontrol Z2 echo on line in when traktor is on .

Hello, i have this problem with my Z2 that has passed thru all the 3. versions of traktor and now even on 4, everytime i play something from a device connected on the line in of the mixer on the mic side i get echo or distorted sound but that happends only when the mixer is connected to the macbook and the traktor software is on, if i turn traktor software off i get back to normal sound on line in. The mixer has the latest firmware. I was curios if anyone elese had this isue and if it has a fix?

I've not tried it with Traktor but it sounds like you have a direct signal going through the Z2 and also going into the Traktor software then out of the software back into the mix. The processing delay in Traktor will make it sound like there's an echo. That's the usual cause of echos, distortion etc. Not sure how to fix it as I don't have a Z2, but I'm sure one the the Traktor experts will know :)

In Traktor, are the channels set up as live input channels?

Do you want the sound to go through Traktor? (For effects?)

it maybe latency, try lower Buffer size/sample rate, or check Effects Routing - Post Fader instead of Send/Insert.

I just have my windows desktop connected to the line in of the mixer and in the same time the mixer is connected to the macbook and the echo only happends when i have traktor opened on the macbook, its annoying because if i play somewhere and i would like to connect someone to my line in of the mixer while i still play they will play with echo, i will have to turn off traktor for the line in to play normal.

Can you take a screenshot of the Trakor UI while it's happening, also while of the input routing setting please.

This is it , i have uploaded the photos with the input routing and ui while the echo its happening on the aux input, i can also see that input fx send is also doing something, that might be the problem somehow.

I checked the FX section as well. The issue happens even with all FX units disabled and no effects loaded. The echo only appears when the Z2 is connected to the Mac and Traktor is running. In standalone mode, using the same source and cables, the line input sounds perfectly clean. That makes me think it isn't caused by an active effect but somewhere in the audio routing or the USB/audio processing path

Can you take a screen shot of the audio settings and effects settings?

edit: also try another USB port, another USB Cable, and another computer. if problems persist, it can be a faulty/broken USB port on the Z2

I have tryed it with different audio cables in different situations, in a live set with someone else connected on the line in of the mixer and back home with another pc connected to the line in of the mixer in both situations from time to time i get the echo over the audio thats playing on the line but only when traktor is on in the macbook, it has nothing to do with the usb since imediately while i close traktor the sound comes back to normal.
