I’ll keep this short and sweet - as the idea of like to bring up is simple.
I’m sure this has been discussed or requested, but I would LOVE for there to be a way to create custom categories or groups of specific plugins within the VST insert dropdown!
You could either customize it in the drop-down window itself (IE have a selectable button or option in the top of the VST dropdown window that says “new+” and then all of the custom made VST views could be underneath that option.
OR - you could create the customized VST categories / groups within the preferences / settings tab in Maschine, so the VST dropdown window itself doesn’t feel cluttered.
For example - you could create a custom VST category named “Mastering chain”, where you have all of your mastering chain plugins available. Another example could be “Reverbs”, where all of your reverbs are quickly accessible!
The main reason i suggest this is - I have been using Maschine for my productions for my entire amateur music production career, for about 10 solid years now, and over the years i have come to have A TON of plugins! About 200… SO! It would be very helpful and save a ton of time to be able to create these custom VST categories.
