I’ve been subscribing to Komplete Standard since 2014, 2015, and now 2026. I’d like to upgrade to Ultimate, but I don’t think there’s a discount available for upgrading from Standard to Ultimate anymore, as there used to be at one point.
Actually, what’s important to me about the Ultimate package is that it focuses much more on orchestration and, above all, film music.
It’s not that the other options, which are geared toward more conventional music, aren’t worth considering, but simply piling more modules onto my hard drive won’t make my compositions any better.
Will there be bundles—similar to the Select Modules—that focus primarily on orchestration and film music, which would reduce both the cost and the amount of data required?
For my part, I’ve already invested in Arkhis, Lores, Straylight, Pharlight, Sequis, Ashlight, and Fables, which aren’t part of Komplete Standard.
Will we ever be able to have a selection of instruments and modules that truly match the musical direction we’ve chosen, or is that just wishful thinking?
