What Process Do I Have To Go Through To Remove Unwanted VST Instruments From Native Access 2?

Hi.

I have an amount of VST instruments on my Native Access 2, that I would like to remove from my programme. They are VST instruments that I do not want to install and I do not want on my Native Access 2.

I downloaded 'Komplete Start' by mistake and error and now I have many VST instruments on my Native Access 2.

This is a list of the unwanted VST instruments -

'Bass Music Essentials' - 'Ozone Imager 2' - 'Supercharger' - 'Acoustic Drums' - 'Analog Dreams' - 'Creative Chords' - 'Ethereal Earth' - 'Guitar Rig 7 Player' - 'Hypha' - 'Irish Harp' - 'Jacob Collier Audience Choir' - 'Kontakt Factory Selection 2' - 'Massive X Player' - 'Ozone 12 Equalizer' - 'Raum' - 'Replika' - 'Trash Lite' - 'Vinyl' - 'Yangkin'.

How can I remove these unwanted VST instruments from my Native Access 2, so that they no longer appear on my Native Access application?

At present then N.A. alas do not have any ability to hide 'unwanted' applications or libraries. It only has the ability to not show Legacy versions of software.

The only way to hide or remove something that annoys you is by removing it from account. Which with respect to Komplete Start would require NI Support It think , and I am not even sure if they will/can do it.

Luckily then N.A. is an app for download , install, updating and activation , so outside these situation then you do not need to run the app.

Further more then if you do not install what you do not like then Komplete Kontrol and Kontakt ought not show these things , meaning that when you use the apps in daily life then you do not have to look at that which annoys you

So if I wanted to remove the VST instruments, that are on my Native Access, I would have to contact Native Instruments support.

The VST instruments are on my account, because I downloaded Komplete Start by mistake. They haven't been installed, however they are giving me the option of installing them. However, I would like to remove the VST instruments from my Native Access.

As explained previously - this is not possible. And it has nothing to do with whether you installed anything or not.

Native Access gets it's application listing FROM your master NI account. It is a mirror.

The only way to clear Native Access of any specific products - is to have NI Support - delete them permanently from the source - which is your master NI Account.

No the items are on your account because you added the Komplete Start to your account.

However, I would like to remove the VST instruments from my Native Access.

As VocalPoint writes then Native Access shows what is available on your account for installation and if you do not want it to show as available for installation then for it not to show then you would have to remove it from the account that you added it to yourself.

Mostly all software that you buy you will be able to transfer yourself away from your account after a cool-down period of 60 days. However then some software that is e.g. either not transferable at all or who is still in cool-down period then only NI Support can remove it from account if they are willing.

To achieve what you want then N.I. Support will have to remove your Komplete Start from your account so you would have to ask that , and of course make your case and request in a polite manner.

However I can not say what is the stance of NI Support on the subject.

Please notice that when you contact NI support then you will receive an AI auto-response and it is important that you answer this response to let NI know that you still need their assistance. This is also valid in general , if you have a support ticket with NI then always respond to their emails as long as that you still need help , else the ticket will close.
