Syncing Loops on Remix Set

Question

Hey everyone,

i am currently learning Remix Sets (using a Kontrol F1) and i am kind of frustrated as i cant figure out the following:

How do i actually sync the loops? While the first Loop is nicely synced to the master the rest of the loops is literally all over the place. I cant neither sync them by smashing a button nor can i manually frickle them into syncro….

As seen below my setting should be alright, arent they? a) The whole Deck / Remix Set is syned to the maste and quantizised. b) every loop has sync activated.

Any help would be extremly appreciated, as i am quite frustrated at this point.

(In case the context helps you to understand: I want to play techno music on 3 decks (1-2 active songs, 1 in reserve) while having the 4th deck on remix to occassionally "enhance" the music with adding some layers of hi-hats, drum loops e.g.)

No stress.

I saw something on your pic: the advanced panel at the bottom shows SYNC: active and loop/one-shot: set to one-shot. That means the panel is focussed on a sampe cell that is not looped. To focus on a sample cell, you have to trigger the cell with the mouse. I suspect your looped sampled are not synced.

You can also use the advanced functions on your F1 to assign toggles to each of your samples. TYPE as well as SHIFT+QUANT(EDIT) should give you access to the relevant submenus. Read the Manual or watch NI's F1 tutorials for all the hidden goodies. The sample grid adjust (sample start and BPM) give more fine control than any other method allows.

Save the current remix set with the wonky loops. - Play all loops several times before saving the set.

Export the set with samples. Upload it here. I will load and check your sample settings. This should be a solvable problem, mate.

Edit: Change the Remix Set BPM to 125 for testing, if the majority of your samples are on 125 bpm. A difference larger than 10% (both sample tempo to set tempo  as well as set tempo to master tempo) can lead to loss of sync and loss of keylock (if in use). Double-Click with mouse in the remix set tempo field to change deck (unaltered) tempo.
