Can a second instrument within an ensemble have its own sample rate.

Question

Is there a way to set the master sample rate different for each instrument within a single ensemble. I'm using the audio module in one instrument but it has no external clock input so I can't underclock it without changing the master sample rate of the ensemble.

In this case, yes the audio module itself has no clock control. I assumed if you didn't change the address to read or write to another holding cell (memory) it would read or write to a single memory location then stop because there is nothing else for it to do. But for some reason it continues to use cpu even after you stop addressing it. Hard to see why it does that because all it does is read or write to memory then sets there with nothing to do. (At least that I know of)  For some reason you can't simply use a duplicate filter on the address line to prevent continuous downstream clocking. It just keeps going on its own. No biggie though, 48k is better anyway but sometimes not needed for bass instruments. I'm happy, it works, it is what it is. That would be a nice feature though if the audio module had an external clock input or if you could set the sample rate for each instrument, that would be good. Thanks for the answer.
