Statement from NI / InMusic when Apple Music/Tidal/Spotify compatibility will arrive in Traktor ?

Hi.

Seeing InMusic has a fair lot of Streaming Options in Denon / EngineOS devices already (https://enginedj.com/streaming) - namely:

Apple Music

Tidal

Soundcloud

Beatport

Beatsource

And Traktor has just (afaik):

(Since NI is now  part of the InMusic umbrella, they should now also have access to the same streaming platform rights in theory, and I'd assume InMusic might be keen to unify their offerings and keep up with the competition (each also have 5+ streaming prociders… i.e.

And seeing more streaming compatibility is regularly requested from Traktor:

Could we get an official statement if/when more might be on the horizon for Traktor (as everyone has their eyes on their favorite where we already have history/playlists/, for testing mixes/playlists/shopping-lists/etc) and this might be a deciding factor for many in the coming months ?

That's a bummer to hear - but crossing fingers there's something to officially state within the next weeks or at least in the next few months.

Traktor is falling behind the competition ever more (and for me, as a long time Traktor user, there's neither to be seen - not the long requested QOL improvements nor any [visible] attempts to catch up to the competition with new features [i.e. Streaming, live stems, the improved collection (& hopefully metadata) management that's been announced 1-2 years (?) ago ] - which is understandable with the last years' issues…).

Hopefully theres a  change with inMusic's take over to the internal roadmap & feature approval process as well as having something to us users in the near future show as well… as Traktor needs allocated dev resources & a clear product roadmap badly to show there's still hope, instead of the year long dev / feature / qol draught we've had (for those of us who are still using Traktor and to attract new users as well).

Can you make any statements, about anything?

NI staff most certainly are signing NDA's (Non Disclosure Agreement) before/when becoming NA staff.  This will make staff unable to discuss most things.  Then add that they are most likely also on a NDA with respect to anything marketing and future strategy including any not published product roadmaps (or not) unless it has been sanctioned as OK.

So do not expect anyone to 'spill the beans' about anything , they will not be allowed to.
