Setting up new TRAKTOR MX2

just got new mx2 and attempting to set it up per the directions but cannot locate anywhere to “enter my serial#” looked in all of the tabs and canont locate. is there a video tutorial. traktor s4mk and got the mx2 as a back up and presume once i get it loaded all will be compatible? just need to finish the set up process. 🤝🙏

You don't need different Traktor version to run you S4 and your MX2. Usually both should just work if you connect them. If you connect both at the same time both should work as controller but you have to select in Traktor settings which one should work as audio interface.

Which version of Traktor Pro are you using with your S4? Unfortunately release notes don't list which was the first version supporting MX2 but it has to be Traktor Pro 4 4.3.0 or 4.4.0. You have to upgrade at least to one of these Traktor versions to use it. If you already use Traktor Pro 4 just update with Native Access. If you were still on Traktor Pro 3 with your S4: Your MX2 provides a TP4 license. Just select the library tab in Native Access and install Traktor Pro 4 from there.

Please do not use all caps when writing it's annoying.

How to enter the serial ? :

Set up a free account on the NI website using same email as when purchasing if you were not logged in already then,

Then download and install latest version of Native Access for your OS

Then login to same correct account in Native Access

Then fill in the serial in the add serial in Native Access :

That worked Thank You. Now is anyone out there using two traktors? Do i have to upload a separate program to run the MX2. When i plug it in it, it doesn’t respond to my traktor program figured it would automatically sync but I must be missing something. Trying to search through online videos may have to just reach out to support?

@maniacintosh81 THANK YOU. I hadn’t received the download for the Traktor Pro 4 at the time so that was why i was having issues. Got it now and everything is working the way it should THANK YOU ALL for your help.
