How to get Multisampling respond to velocity input

Hi, I tried multisampling an FL Studio instrument that has a fixed velocity hoping that after resampling it, it would respond to the velocity input of the Maschine pads but it doesn't. When sampling anything else into Maschine (for chopping) the sample does respond to velocity input even though it is technically a fixed velocity sample. Am I overlooking a setting or is it just not possible when multisampling?

I mean the sampler instrument tabs/pages where the controls are for every instrument you load, not the sampler area where you can load and manage the samples or do the auto sampler stuff. It's in the middle of the screen.

Hello,

so you have sampled several layers for every key(range) then you play full volume samples triggered by different velocities. You don't need to do that, you just sample one sample per key(range), and set the velocity destination to volume to 100, normally it is set that way but check that

So while sampling you set velocity low and high to the same value, note map as you need and it should work.

Hello Uwe, I did not sample several layers for every key because the instrument has only one velocity so there would be no point. Perhaps "multisampling" is a bit confusing and I should have said autosampling, my bad.

I did exactly what you described in the second half of your reply but when I play the resampled instrument on the Maschine pads, it plays at full velocity which I don't understand because when you sample a single piece of audio, which is also a fixed velocity file, it does respond to velocity input.

I'm not sure if I'm actually do something wrong, there aren't that many options in the autosampling menu to begin with. Can you, or anybody else, confirm that it should respond to velocity input?

Strange if I set this volume knob under the last sampler tab (velocity/mod wheel) to +100 it works here. Have you tried exactly this knob, maybe I did not described it perfectly the first time. And yes it should respond to velocity if this knob is set as I said.

Hmmm, the last tab (5/5) says Batch Process and has 3 options, Find Loop, Trim Silence and Normalize. I have all 3 set to off. Tab 4/5 says Velocity Map > Stride, Vel Lo, Vel Hi and Extend, I have set these to; Stride 1, Vel Lo 100, Vel Hi 100 and Extend to On. As far as I understand this should be correct, right?
