Can't delete associated Stem

I try to delete the associated Stems for a specific track via the right-click context menu and the option "Delete Associated Stems". Unfortunately an error message pops up saying "Stems cannot be removed when loaded into a deck. Please unload the track first."

As seen in the attached screenshots, there's no track loaded in any of the 4 decks.

The Track itself plays fine, as do the stems if I load them into a deck.

Is this a bug? Did someone experience something similar and can help?

Hm… The only workarounds I can think of are probably unrelated: You can try selecting "stop deck at the end of the track" and unselecting "load only in to stopped decks" in the settings.

Deleting the track only will not also delet the linked stems nor re-link it in any way. Did you manage your Tags outside of Traktor? I had also a few issues wit MP3 Tagger an my Traktor generated Stems. After that iI used Nuo Stems to re-link them.

Have you tried loading a different track into all four decks and then deleting the link, or rather the stems, of the problematic one?

What happens if you restart Traktor?

I had that problem for several days now, so I restarted Traktor a few times already without any changes.

I wonder since Traktor still seems to find the associated stem. I can load and play it no problem…

I could try an delete the track from the collection and hope that the stem will be deleted as well, but there's no way to tell if that's the case since I can't pick out, which of the .mp4 files in the stem folder is the specific file of that track.

I found the associated .mp4 stem file in the stems folder (by clicking through all of the stems I created so far and listening to them via VLC…)
I changed the settings as you suggested above (only had to check the "load ony in to stopped decks" setting, since the other one was already checked).

and tadaa: I was able to delete the stem from that specific file. I don't know which one of the two was the crucial step, though.

yes, I use mp3Tag before I import my songs into Traktor. Maybe that messed something up!
