I'd seen it from a youtuber who'd released it early yesterday. 399 update for the Collector's Edition update? ouch. Is in euros & dollars? or is it cheaper in Euros? Bit like Izotope RX, the updates are very expensive for what's on offer.

P.S: @Super8boy , I just got informed via VocalPoint that also then the new pricing policy makes the update/upgrade price higher the longer you wait to buy. (see prices on the compare page)
I don't think the upgrade price is expensive at all, even considering I've got most of the content already. The number of new things is sufficient to make the price per thing literally pocket money.
im a collectors edition owner. none of the material excites me enough to pay the update price
leap & play series libraries are garbage, scene libraries are garbage, absynth 6 is just a gui update, ive already got enough guitars and strings. machine libraries are pretty much all the same and i rarely use massive x and ni are making a mess of all the software i use kontakt/kontrol
the only thing in the update that excites me is erosia & odes
ill wait for the summer of sound sale or until the next update
Well now, since Komplete 26 is out in May (which is VERY unusual), as opposed to September or some other time of the year, I wonder if "Summer of Sound" will still look the same as it has in past years. I mean, why would NI make K26 a sale item for Summer of Sound five minutes after putting it on sale with the usual "loyalty pricing"? And what would motivate them to go backward in time and put K15 on sale so soon after releasing the next version?
Not a lot, I'd venture to say.
But hey, maybe "Summer of Sound" will be supplanted by "Autumn of Audio". Hey, it could happen! π

I'm referrring to this if you weren't aware:
guess ill have to wait another year then, no great loss it really doesnt excite me at all lol. even if it was reduced i still dont think its exciting enough, most of it is just garbage. it would probably make more sense just to buy the few products i would use as seperate products in the summer sale
