Wow. Stunned. And so "off" the "usual" beaten release path.

Have never seen a Komplete bundle fall this early. I think I know why (kinda obvious) but still - a jolt.

For me - having just upgraded to K15 ULT - cannot see myself as a taker - but it looks like great value.

I do find the pricing change interesting as well.

Seems we have returned to a sliding scale where things now get more expensive for an upgrader the longer they wait(ed) to pull the trigger….

Yes , that's not what you would like , I personally was so fond of the IMO previously very great pricing policy.

For the longest time - I could not decide if it was fair to allow someone who - let's say - hadn't given NI the time of day since purchasing Komplete 9 in March 2013 - and give them the same awesome price on a Komplete 15 upgrade as what I paid (I upgrade every second year) when I bought mine during the last Summer of Sound in 2025.

Now - I think I am more of the mind that those who choose to support the efforts on a (much) shorter cadence - should reap the pricing rewards TBH.

I get your point also , of course. Anyway , it's a completely meaningless discussion to start discussing prices that are no longer valid. It is as it is and it is not going to change unless NI thinks that they will make more money by doing so,

Oh wow, and it's not even xmas!

Komplete has taken a Leap™ 😍 from 15 to 26 (presumably using the year from now on). Looks like 54 new products for me, so divide the upgrade price by 54 and it's roughly £6.65 for each product - meaning a saving even on the cheapest ones (Leap & Massive X exps).

As a Maschine+ owner I would have liked some new standlone content though.

While I agree with you, I didn't upgrade to 15 collectors as I had already bought Kontakt 8, Session Percussionist, Guitar rig 7 Pro etc.

Now I have to pay £90 more to upgrade from 14 to 15 when I've probably paid more than the upgrade price from 14 to 15 anyway.

t's not that the price isn't fair, it's just if they are going that route, I wish they would also take Into account, other things we had purchased between updates.

It actually says I can update for £359 (see pic) but as soon as I click buy now it changes to £449, I was getting excited for a moment :)

The reality is £359 with my birthday around the corner, I would have asked my loverly wife to buy it for me, but £449 is a little too much. I've already bought Absynth 6 and really there's nothing I actually need.

This year I have purchased Zebra 3 and Ezdrummer 3 which cover my drum and synth needs for months to come, I THINK I would save money just buying any expansion pack I actually want rather than nearly £500.

Obviously had I not already purchased Absynth , Kontakt, Guitar Rig etc, it would be a no brainer, but for me, their new pricing model means I will probably give this a miss, whereas had the old way been in place, they would have got £359 out of me.

It's a shame to see them do that considering that the perceived value for each user is dependant on the products being added. Basically, if you're a rock guy and you skip an EDM/Orchestral heavy bundle, or vice versa you're now having to pay extra.

NI obviously feel it's a good move, and hopefully it works out for them in regards to revenue. Personally, it's put me off upgrading.
